“Opportunities to find deeper powers within ourselves come when life seems most challenging.” -Joseph Campbell
There is an opportunity before you to enter your inner depths, the underworld (if you will), and emerge with a truth to set you free of old patterns. It will be challenging. All swords are double-edged, even the Ace of Swords. Its weight must be judged and balanced carefully as truth has the ability to set us free but also hurt us. Ultimately it is in the how and the why of our questions which really cut at the root of any unhealthy thing that we must let go of. What brings you alive? What awakens you, sweet Frankenstein? And what, Victor, have you created?
The sword is conducting electricity. Is its power being amplified to ignite ideas, to spark results? Or, is it time to pick up the sword oneself and bear its weight?
Remember as we enter the inner underworld, it is okay to check in with positive supportive systems and have assistance. You are responsible for your truth and for the recovery and use of your power.
Look also at your communication with yourself and others. Are your words too cutting, or are you not speaking up when you should? The negotiation between what we desire and the action steps to create its actuality will be challenged on either side of the blade’s double edge. It may seem like outside forces, or even inner forces, are putting pressure on you to get rid of negative patterns or unhealthy situations in your life. Look at the repeated negativity and drama as loving shouts of “You Don’t Need This, Nor Do You Deserve It!” and really begin to own your truths and be accountable to yourself.
